Jayne is a Cambridge-born, internationally published and award winning black & white photographer living in Newmarket, Suffolk. Being awarded Fellowship from The Royal Photographic Society in 2020, positions her as one of only 600 Fellows worldwide. She’s a member of The RPS Assessment Panel for the Fellowship & Associateship Documentary & Applied genres in Bristol and has lectured and judged across the UK.

From Jayne:

"To me, the world is best expressed in black and white, and my widely published photography is regularly featured in exhibitions and magazines. One of less than 600 Fellows of The Royal Photographic Society worldwide, my photography is highly acclaimed and recognised. Having been funded by the Arts Council to stage, ‘Time & Motion: Capturing the Lifeblood of a Racing Yard’, an exhibition at the National Horse Racing Museum in Newmarket, my work is now a permanent part of the museum’s collection and archive. I am a Royal Photographic Society Distinctions Panel Assessor for Fellowship & Associateship levels in both Documentary and Applied genres, as well as a One2One Advisor and a member of The RPS Women in Photography Group. I’ve judged and lectured across the UK." Jayne Odell FRPS

Her passion is and has always been capturing the world around her in Black & White with emotion and sometimes humour.
