About the talk, from Eddie:
“Motion Capture” as a comprehensive guide to the creative use of shutter speed. Put another way, it’s all about how to tell stories with your camera. When is it appropriate to use a fast shutter speed and when do we have to slow it down. So, I start this talk with an image of a car on a race track that’s nice and sharp but you cannot tell if it’s moving or not. I then explore how to what shutter speeds will convey the story of what’s happening and how to perhaps tell a story that’s maybe not actually happening.
The talk involves, cars, bikes, trains, planes people, birds, animals, landscapes with water, astro photography, night, fireworks etc - anything that moves basically!
About Eddie:
