An outline of the talk from Tony, is below:
Intro - my background as a macro/flower photographer (I'll share some images placed in IGPOTY and N-Photo POTY); purpose of the talk; how the audience can get involved.
Editing 'straight' floral images - getting the best out of a shot, using Lightroom and Photoshop; impressing judges,
Critique and editing demos of images that have been sent in (a link will be shared with partcipants!)
Break - people can email/wetransfer more images for critique/editing.
Creating flower and leaf composites:
My modern style (I will show more award-winning examples)
Getting the shots (including using a lightpad, macro lens etc.)
Processing the individual elements (flowers and leaves) for use in a composite- composing the main elements in Photoshop- using textures and OOF images as backgrounds- using blending modes and other techniques to create the overall effect- final editing touches
