About the event:

Jocelyn was someone that was recommended by several people as someone that we should invite to come and speak to the community, including many speakers and presenters! Her work is superb and I am honoured to be able to share it with you all.

About Joceyln:

Jocelyn Horsfall ARPS is an award-winning photographic artist, specialising in impressionistic images of flowers and foliage and the natural world. She uses a variety of techniques with her camera, including textured glass, soft focus, multiple exposure and camera movement, and adds a little creative processing too. She has had some success with the International Garden Photographer of the year competition over the years, with 2024's achievement being 5 awards!

About the talk:

Her talk will of course be mainly focussed on flowers and foliage, both in the studio and then outdoors through the seasons of the year, covering the different techniques she uses. There will be a few landscapes at the beginning, as that is where she started out, and she will end with a few projects, series of images that work together to illustrate a theme.
